RE: Are You FUNNY with MONEY
“I got free gas for my car after the second session!”“After leaving my second session of Are You FUNNY with MONEY with Linda, I went to the gas station to fill up my car with gas. When I went to the pump, the instructions on the display said to remove the handle and fill. I followed the directions and got $33 of gasoline. Once the receipt printed out I could see that someone had pre-payed the pump with their Credit Card. Only the last 4 digits of the card were visible.
I went into the station to see if there was a way to trace the person who paid for the gas, yet the clerk reacted like I was saying HE had done something wrong. I assured him that was not the case and attempted to explain what happened. He said nothing he could do, so I accepted my free gas. I will never know if someone “paid it forward” as a gesture of kindness or made some sort of mistake. Either way, I accepted more good coming my way. The Funny Money class worked for me!”

“As I mentioned during our group discussion last Sunday, after our first Heart Forgiveness class, I was really tired and slept a lot. Well…I don’t know what exactly happened, but since our [final] class this past Sunday, I have been like the Energizer bunny! I wasn’t tired at all after the 2nd class and was wide awake until the wee hours of the morning (even later than usual for me and my night owl body clock!). I have been doing more clearing out and reorganizing in the garage the last few days, too. What a shift!!! Before, it always seemed like such a chore trying to tackle the garage and working on it was always accompanied by guilt and self-recrimination (you know, the self-talk that goes something like this: ”why didn’t I keep on top of this?”, “why did I keep this stuff?”, etc, etc). Now, I feel so different. It’s like… I WANT to do this, It feels good to do this, and I can’t wait until I have this organized and de-cluttered!!! Wow, my attitude has completely changed! This has been amazing. I have this really strong feeling that my life is taking a different direction right now and that clearing all of this stuff out will facilitate that change.
